1st Annual Walk for Water

With a passion for philanthropy, Geile/Leon's own Miranda Warren brought Walk for Water to our attention. Walk for Water is an event organized by Project Restore to raise funds to help alleviate the water crisis in Namulonge, a village just outside Uganda's capital. Over 1 billion people worldwide suffer from a lack of safe, clean drinking water. It is by far the most alarming global health crisis of our time, yet it remains relatively unknown.
